Grant Modern is a red-based tartan with shades of green and blue. Speyside is the home of the Clan Grant and they have been settled there since about the 13th century. The Grants participated in the battle in support of the King and Government, but during the Jacobite Rebellions of 1715 and 1745, they did not support the exiled house of Stewart.
