



An oversized lambswool stole in a weathered version of Macleods tartan which features a stunning shade of ochre intersected with black and red.
MacLeod Dress Weathered Tartan is a muted yellow-based tartan with bold black and red checks. Also known as MacLeod of Lewis. Leod, son of Olaf, King of Man, is the progenitor of this clan. They were a powerful clan and had great influence in the Highlands.They supported King Charles II at Worcester in 1651, when almost 700 MacLeods are said to have been killed. They did not support the Jacobite Risings of 1715 and 1745
